The question buzzing around the net today is can Rod Blagojevich use the race card to sneak in his pick for US Senate from the state of Illinois.  In a clear act of political theater the Governor from Illinois has appointed long time Illinois politician and African-American Roland Burris to the Senate.  Will Senate Democrats deny the only African-American destined to enter the Senate this session?  Lawyers will make a fortunate on this one.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who has been quite friendly in her words toward president-elect Barack Obama, recently made a startling comment saying that people will soon thank Bush for what he’s done.  Well, like I am thinking with Obama, the proof will be in the pudding.  Let’s see, right?  That said, that would be one of the most remarkable turn around in presidential option since Harry Truman.  President George W. Bush from zero to hero?

The GOP is lambasting the Barack the Magic Negro spoof song, now widely available on Mp3.  Republican National Committee members received a CD with songs from satirist Paul Shanklin that included a parody of President-elect Barack Obama.  They shared songs like “We Hate the USA.”  Oh boy…
